We’re a not-for-profit community cooperative here to give Port Talbot a quality local news and information service.
Our volunteers are professional journalists who put in a few hours a week to make it work.
The main aim is an online hyperlocal news network for Port Talbot giving townsfolk the chance to keep in touch and to learn skills in research, writing, photography and IT.
We are run by Local News South Wales Ltd, a social enterprise. Our Board consists of eight professional journalists, and there are almost twenty members of the co-operative.
