I used to be very involved in the autism community. Past President and founder of H.O.P.E. for Autism (Helping Others Provide Education) which eventually merged with COFEAT in Columbus, Ohio. Past State Representative for Unlocking Autism, Past President of the Central Ohio Chapter of the Autism Society of America, Past President of the ARC of Morrow County. Organized the first 3 Ohio Statehouse Autism Awareness Rallies as an Unlocking Autism Representative. Since my divorce and single parenthood, I have had to take a step back and focus on day to day survival with my children, however, I will always cherish the autism friends and connections that I made in the past.
