About
I am from Freeport, Bahamas, and obtained a Bachelors of Engineering from Youngstown State University in May of 2016, In the fall of 2016, I matriculated into the PhD program in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania, an Ivy League institution located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
While interning during my summer breaks, I was first introduced to engineering documents and the detail needed in review of NFPA code. I was able to use problem solving to determine materials needed to construct, amount needed as required from scaled diagrams, and to calculate proportions of concrete to identify a certain strength needed depending on the area of application.
