I work as an educator in the Denver metro area. I have worked with work with bilingual students for the last eight years. I pride myself on adjusting lessons to be culturally relevant and linguistically sensitive. My bilingual students often know more than they can express, so I make sentence frames and provide extra time for students to practice the language we are learning in class.
Then I work with the Unitarian Society of Denver to empower youth, art education, community organizing, and provide mentorship.
