I am responsible for
- The design, architecture and delivery of scalable backends for efficient search and query of video content and its medatadata using MongoDB and Elasticsearch.
- API server that is used by Apalya's myplex (Android and iOS) apps and web portal www.myplex.com.
- Building and managing a geographically spread team that built the myplex backend.
- I am also involved in working with different Studios like Warner Brothers, Sony Pictures for getting technical clearance and rights to license their content on our platform.
