Carlo Asuncion is a macroeconomist by training. He has passion for economic research and analysis that seeks to contribute to knowledge, add to its value, and to sustainable and inclusive economic growth. He has graduate training in macroeconomics and finance, development economics, and applied econometrics. His solid fundamental training on economics comes from the University of the Philippines and the De La Salle University-School of Economics. His research interests were exposed to the Graduate Summer School of the Center for Financial Studies at Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany on macroeconomics and finance in 2008.
