Robert Cheetham is the founder and president of Azavea, a geospatial software design and development firm based in Philadelphia. Robert is into geography, maps and the web, but in past lives was trained as a landscape architect and lived for several years in Japan. Prior to founding Azavea, Robert served as a software developer and analyst for the Philadelphia Police Department, the University of Pennsylvania and the City of Philadelphia. Recent projects have included work in crime analysis, economic development, land conservation, cultural resources, real estate, and social services.
