Information Quality Certified Professional (IQCP), Principal Consultant in Information Management, Speaker and Chief Data Officer wannabe. My personal Data Manifesto, words I live by:
1. Thou shalt always respect and consider the context.
2. Thou shalt love thy data. Data is the ultimate proprietary asset (& liability), respect its owners
3. Thou shalt stop centering apps over data, stop the tight coupling between function and data
4. Thou shalt strive for accurate, relevant, timely, consistent & accessible data
5. Thou shalt make a ‘fundamentalistic’ separation between facts and context
6. Thou shalt not forsake Time
7. Thou shalt never mix up Data Architecture and Technology Arc
