Quite a long time ago, I left home to join the Navy. I found my calling as a journalist, then after seven years, left active duty to join the reserves and become an elementary school teacher.
I received my bachelor's degree from the University of Southern Illinois and my master's degree from the University of Phoenix.
I'm married, but my husband really hates Facebook so I won't mention his name:) I have two wonderful dogs named Norman and Charlie and an ever-growing list of friends and family.
