Raphael studies International Relations at the S茫o Paulo State University (UNESP). In 2010 he participated in the Summer Work and Travel Exchange Program at Universal Orlando, USA. In 2011 he joined the UNESP International Relations Jr. Consulting Firm SAGE and worked at the Internationalization Project of Firms and Marketing Department, as junior consultant. In the same year, due to his engagement with the 'SOS Rio do Peixe' NGO, to him was granted the 'Bayer Young Environmental Envoy' award by Bayer and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).
