Robert G. Barnwell is a micro-budget filmmaker and founder of Subic Bay Films (www.subicbayfilms.com) and Action Film Institute (www.actionfilminstitute.com.)
Robert grew up and attended high school at Subic Bay Naval Base in the Philippine Islands which, at the time, was the largest U.S. military base in the world. During his time at Subic Bay, he was fortunate to regularly watch the Navy Special Warfare Command’s SEAL Team One and Marine Force Recon teams train and refine their combat tactics.
Following high school, Robert graduated from Georgetown University in Washington D.C. Robert Barnwell with a focus on foreign affairs and a strong interest in counter-terrorism and counter-insurg
