Currently I am a PhD Candidate in Genetics at Stanford University School of Medicine.
During my time at Stanford I have been involved in a number of outreach opportunities within and outside of my program. I have taught numerous classes to middle-school students through the Association for Women in Science, Tech Trek at Stanford, Stanford Summer Institute, and the Stanford Science Circle. These classes allowed me to be creative and create a lesson plan that is informative, fun, and completely my own. Due to these opportunities, I have taught science classes to young students not only at Stanford and the Bay area, but from around the world.
