Born Rabat Malta of Paul and Mary nee' Vella. Have two brothers and three sisters. Consequently uncle and greatuncle of several nephews and nieces :-)
Attended St. Joseph's School Rabat, Malta. Primary School Ghajnsielem Gozo and Rabat Malta, Secondary Education Minor Seminary Floriana.
Joined the Order of Friars Minor 22nd October 1972. Studied in Malta and in Jerusalem. Made Solemn Profession at Nazareth in Israel 8th December 1976. Ordained priest at Ghajnsielem Gozo 25th August 1979.
