Looking at my profile and reading the "about me" comments that I had written months ago proved a bit shocking. I thought to myself "did I really write that". So I decided to delete the field and start again.
However, as I begun, I realized that I no longer had any idea what to write. Maybe this is a transitional period in life which is causing a shift in my self image. Or maybe it is time to re-think the answers. Or, maybe so much time has elapsed that I am forced to realize that I am no longer who I was 10 or 20 years ago.
What defines us? Our marital status, our job, the number and ages of our children. Maybe it is what we still do or no longer do?
