Grew up in San Jose. Met my wife, Kristin, in Modesto in the college group of a church my cousin was the youth pastor for. Kristin and I lived in Mexico City and Guadalajara (prior to kids) for 1 1/2 years as missionaries. We moved to Colorado in 1997 with one child. We loved the mountains and the beauty of Colorado and thought we would stay there for life. But God had different plans. I learned of a ministry called Gospel for Asia and the Lord called us to give up our house and Colorado to move near Dallas, Texas. We moved with four children in 2003.
