- 1. 14% > 14% of Chicago Public School students graduate from college by the age of 25 HighSights mission is to provide academic and social support to Chicago high school students. HighSight provides scholarships, tutoring, mentoring, leadership development and college readiness programs to enable its students to attend and succeed at the private high school of their choice. FALL 2015 HIGHSIGHT RESULTS =COLLEGE GRADUATES 100% HighSights SUCCESS of the Class of 2015 enrolled in college HighSight improves college graduation rates in Chicago. 90% college persistence rate 100% of rising seniors attended a study away program 163 low income students served 24 neighborhoods represented by HighSight scholars 28 colleges HighSight students attend 12 high schools represented 28 elementary schools represented in the Insight program 27 new freshmen welcomed to the HighSight community HighSights REACH 3.42The average GPA for a HighSight scholar in 2014-2015. HighSights RESULTS 70% > 70% of HighSight scholars graduate from 4-year colleges and universities in 4 years 80over 80 volunteer tutors 7272 years of combined experience with 5 staff members working at HighSight 24HighSight is approaching its 24th year

SAURANG SINGH DE PAUL COLLEGE PREP, CLASS OF 2016 hrough the efforts of HighSight and the AFS-USA foundation, I was able to spend six weeks in Japan, learning the culture, being introduced to the language and living with two host families. Even being from Nepal and having moved to Chicago, Japan introduced me to a new and completely different culture, language and of course, diet. Now that I am home, I realize that I am not the same person who left for Japan earlier this summer. Japans culture heavily emphasizes learning and education. And, now that I am a senior, this focus will carry over into my studies and provide me with extra excitement when applying to college. T Greetings from Japan HighSight welcomed our class of 2019 with an intense, 鍖ve-week academic program that emphasized reading, writing, math, character development and study skills. The program culminated with Freshman Week at La Lumiere School in LaPorte, Indiana, where students worked on team-building, leadership development and planning for the year ahead. WELCOME CLASS OF 2019! Our Class of 2019 will be attending 9 different high schools across the city

Roger Becerra De La Salle Institute, in Ecuador HighSight is excited to welcome Jesus Gomez to our seasoned staff. As a HighSight scholar, Jesus attended Holy Trinity High School in 2004. After four years, he left to Granville, Ohio to attend Denison University as a Posse Scholar. At Denison, he majored in history, worked in the Multicultural Student Affairs Office for four years, brought the first Latino fraternity to campus, and participated in various club and intramural sports. After graduating Denison in 2012, Jesus accepted a full-time staff position at Oberlin College as a Community Coordinator in the Multicultural Resource Center where he was in charge of supporting, advising and providing programming for underrepresented students. After two years working at Oberlin, and six years total in Ohio, he decided it was time to return to his hometown. He was accepted into the Masters of Higher Education program at Loyola University in Chicago in 2014. As a graduate student, he completed an internship in the Office of Access, Equity, and Diversity at Oakton Community College where he coordinated the ANDALE program, which focused on improving the retention, persistence, and success of Oaktons Latino/a/x students. HighSight is excited to welcome Jesus Gomez to the team. - 4. 315 West Walton Street, Chicago, Illinois 60610 The EVE of the EVE takes place the night before New Years Eve and all proceeds bene鍖t HighSights scholarship program. This black-tie optional event offers more than 2,000 young, urban professionals the opportunity to mix and mingle while jump- starting their New Years celebrations. The party takes over the entire Great Hall of Union Station, where guests enjoy cocktails, heavy hors doeuvres, a live band and dancing. This much-anticipated event is truly one of Chicagolands premier extravaganzas and the premiere holiday choice for partygoers year after year.
