Born in the wilds of Oregon to a pair of teenagers. Grew up in the infamously haunted 3 mile valley (an Indian graveyard) of The Dalles. Went to college in Los Angeles, served in the Army in Korea, and began a teaching career in Texas. Then I began teaching in Hong Kong, and in China.
