Worked on thesis project where I was trying to understand role of a specific genetic and molecular marker in the progression of gallbladder cancer. Techniques like DNA/RNA isolation from blood/tissue , amplification of nucleic acids by Polymerase Chain Reaction, Sanger's DNA sequencing were performed for detection of any mutation in protein found in early stages of cancer.
