It taught me that there are three versions of things:
the one I see in my mind, and the one that carries onto the paper, and then what it ultimately becomes.鈥�
I didn鈥檛 think while I drew. The pencil flew across the page making marks, almost as if it had a mind of its own.
Often times I didn鈥檛 know what it was going to be until it was completed.
When I finished I was not at all surprised by what had taken form on my paper!
