Family is important to me. I can't begin to describe the pride I have watching my children grow and mature.
I am interested in incorporating mindfulness into my life because I struggle to maintain a sense of balance. Interestingly enough, I am finding that eastern philosophies/practices converge with scientific findings associated with biofeedback and neurofeedback.
My father spent his adult life providing for his children, but I don't think he found his jobs satisfying or fulfilling so I feel very privilged to do something that I find fulfilling. I enjoy the challenge of administering a department and remain enthusuastic about mentoring students.
