Michele Potteiger and I were married in 1993 after dating for about 4 years (CV high school sweethearts). She used to pass me letters in Mr. Beam's typing class as she could type about 100WPM and I could never keep up.
After we were married I had graduated from HACC and transferred to New York Institute of Technology to finish my B. Arch. We lived on Long Island, East Meadows to be exact just off of 24 (Hempstead Turnpike) and the Wantagh Parkway. What a change of environments. The area helped me to see the effects of sprawl and I saw what my family members would see in 10-20 years.
