About
After teaching journalism and public opinion research for 31 yrs., I became an Episcopal priest. I started seminary in 1969 but crossed the dean, walked across to Northwestern, and got my Ph.D. Now, I'm at a wonderful little parish near Chicago.
Robert O. Wyatt is rector, St. Helena's Episcopal Church, Burr Ridge, IL. Prior to ordination in 2004, he was director of communication research and professor of journalism at Middle Tennessee State University, Murfreesboro, for 1979 to 2004, He was founding director of MTSU's twice-yearly tracking poll.
Wyatt is a member of the board of trustees at Episcopal Charities and Community Services, Chicago and St. Augustine’s College, Chicago. He h
