Grew up in southwestern NY (Jamestown) attended JHS and Rochester Institute of Technology and always planned on being a "career woman".
Worked for 3M Company where I met my husband Larry (in Weatherford, Oklahoma of all places!) Had a baby (Connor) and moved to Portland, Oregon for a few years where I worked for Nike while Larry went back to school to get his PhD. Had another baby (Caleb) and we became gypsies for a year house-sitting and deciding what we wanted to do.
After 15 years of working I decided I had enough (sorry Mom & Dad for all the money you spent on my engineering degree!). Larry got a job at the national lab here in Los Alamos in 2001.
Now I'm a domestic engin
