Rog茅rio Costa got his first degree in Geography & Earth Sciences Engineering from the University of Coimbra and a MSc degree in Probability and Statistics from the University of Lisbon. In 2007, he started a PhD at the Catalunya Polytechnic University, Spain.
He was a University Lecturer, from 1986 to 1992 at Coimbra University. Since 1992, he has been teaching at the School of Education and Social Sciences (ESECS) of the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria (IPL), where he coordinated, from 2001 to 2006, a project to support The Internet use in Primary Public Schools at Leiria Council.
