Manager/lead of the Android Graphics team at Google. The team is responsible for the lower layers of the graphics stack including Vulkan, OpenGL ES, SurfaceFlinger and Hardware Composer.
Prior to this, I was the tech lead/manager for the Android UI toolkit team. I wrote the OpenGL rendering pipeline used to hardware accelerate all Android applications. I've worked on Android since before its first public release and I have done many other things that are still in your phones and SDKs.
