Loh Jo-an worked with an insurance company for 15 years before she discovered her latent talent was in the arts. She was an able organiser & a trained personnel at public relations & business administration. Nonetheless, she left for UK in 1997 to pursue her studies in art & design.
In 1998, she graduated with a BA (Hons) in 3DD majoring in Ceramics with Glass, from the University of Central England (UCE) in Birmingham, UK. Her graduating works 鈥楾ea set with a Difference鈥� was selected for an exhibition at the Islington Business Centre in London.
