This document outlines a 5-day lesson plan for an introductory painting class at a rural high school.  The students will view impressionist paintings from Monet and Renoir and discuss if it is considered art. Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Woman With a Dog Claude Monet, Impression: Sunrise
