I have been privileged to work with some incredibly talented people. In 1991 I was introduced to "lean" and was involved in a complete transformation of the Fracture Management division at Zimmer Inc., a major medical device manufacturer.
Later I led the lean transformation process for chemical products at Zimmer and our team had remarkable success.
In 2003 I was picked to establish a global Zimmer Production System (ZPS). As much as I enjoyed the transformation, the most rewarding aspect was being a part of developing people and watching them take on larger roles in the company.
