Facebook for me is a way to maintain contacts rather than a forum for debate. When I post religious or political events, they usually relate to civil rights or to life or death human rights issues, including such concerns as poverty and homelessness.
I am somewhat of an independent thinker. Some people have even described me as more of an enigma or "complicated" person. Though I tend to be very serious, I believe that I at least have a decent sense of humor. More and more, I am learning that learning to laugh at myself is one of life's most important lessons.
