https://cdn.slidesharecdn.com/profile-photo-bristoljames-48x48.jpg?cb=1523152612 I have spent the last 2 years researching social media for nonprofits and developing a social media strategy for the Joseph Rowntree Foundation (JRF), one of the largest social policy research organisations in the UK. JRF now has 40 employees on Twitter including the Chief Exec, Directors and Policy & Research Managers. Everyone can actively nurture online networks which we can use to maximise the impact of published research and the work of the Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust (JRHT). I’ve incorporated strategic social media into all communications planning, including targeted blogging and Twitter-activity around research launches, opening up events using Twitter, podcasts and video and bristoljames.com
