Yaple recommendation letter
1. October 24, 2013
To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing this letter of recommendation on behalf of Ryan Yaple, an Entrepreneurship major at
Northwood University in Midland Michigan. I am the Department Chair for Entrepreneurship at
Northwood.
As the department chair for his field of study I have had the pleasure of having Ryan in class every
semester during his four years at Northwood. Ryan comes prepared for class; he interested in the
subject matter, actively participates in the class discussion and understands the value of the class to his
future as a business owner. In addition to his performance in the classroom, I have been a customer of
Ryan at Radio Shack where he is a store manager. Ryan has taken care of my entire family with regard
to cell phone purchases and plans as well as other technology needs. Ryan understands and provides
great customer service. This is an important trait and skill set to have for his chosen field of
entrepreneurship. In addition to how he has worked with my family I have observed him working with
others in the store, multi-tasking while still making each customer feel as if they are getting all of his
attention.
I would highly recommend Ryan to any employer or organization. He understands the global nature of
how a business is run and needs to operate. He is willing and able to work until the job is done. Please
feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.
Sincerely,
James M. Hop, MBA
