As long as you are not hurting anyone, fight for what you want. Learn to say "NO". Be "brutally" honest. Disagree without being disagreeable, in control without being controlling and dominate without being domineering. You don't need to treat people nicely, just treat everyone equally from the CEO to the Secretary. Never take rejection personally. Have confidence in yourself, knowing that not everyone will like or agree with you. You don't do yourself a favor by being: "easy push over", "nice guy" or "trying to make everyone like you".
