I was the Imam of Masjid Al Ikhlas in the City of Newburgh, New York. I was also a Chaplain at Fishkill Correctional Facility, and at Bard College. I have received my Doctoral degree in Islamic Studies --Christian/Muslim relations. I retired from my work in NY and have moved to North Carolina.
