Salvatore Nicotra was born in Catania, Italy, in 1975.
He received the degree in Computer Science (summa cum laude) in 1999 and his Ph.D in Computer Science in 2003.
He collaborates with Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Catania on research projects and teaching activities.
Sinces 2005 he works at Neodata Group as Database Administrator.
His research interests include scientific visualization, visual data mining and texture analysis.
