Entered the Army directly out of Cumberland Valley High School in 1975; after being discharged in 1979, I went to work as a corrections officer at Cumberland County Prison until 1986. In 1986 I was hired by Lower Allen Township Police Department as a patrol officer. During my career at Lower Allen I held various roles within the PD, retiring in 2008. I then went to work for Central Penn College, teaching in the Homeland Security and Criminal Justice fields. Currently I'm at the dissertation phase of my Doctorial pursuit; the goal is in sight! Being a Doctorial candidate is exciting and humbling at the same time.
