Dr. Santanu Das is currently appointed at Department of Materials Science and Engineering University of North Texas, Denton, Texas as a Research Scientist. He is supervising the projects of "electronic and magnetic properties of thin films" and "The surface analysis and electrochemical characterizations of thin films".
Dr Das's research interests lie in synthesis and electrical, mechanical and electrochemical properties of bulk/thin film alloy materials including graphene and transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDC) and applications based on these materials in order to solve the issues & challenges in photo-voltaic, field effect transistors, energy storage, and sensors.
