As a professor cohort my educational philosophy is one built on a holistic approach which employs compassion, patience, and humor. My overall approach is one of constructivist learning which allows learners fuse experience and authentic knowledge development rather than wrote memorization. My approach is that of a mentor, co-learner, guide, and facilitator. I think students should be allowed to develop personal learning constructs and it is my job to guide them in self realization so that they may develop skills that will allow them to become motivated lifelong learners.
In regards to firearms education, my current professional goals are also my personal goals. I am devoted to education.
