The cutie in the pictures is my daughter who was born in Guatemala. I made the decision to adopt (even as a single person!), following a mission trip I took to Guatemala with my church. I have since fallen in love with the country who gave me my daughter, and can't wait to take her back! She is a joy, and a pistol (we are in the terrible twos you know!), but she is absolutely the love of my life, and sometimes I forget that I didn't give birth to her! (OK, I know you birth moms can't understand that one...or might even laugh or scoff at me for saying that, but honestly it's true!!). I don't realize that we don't look alike until I get strange looks from people out in public. They look at her
