The Shrine Mountain Trail is a 2.1 mile hike located near Vail, Colorado that gains 645 feet in elevation. It begins at an elevation of 11,089 feet and reaches a high point of 11,747 feet. The trail follows an old Ute Indian trail and offers spectacular views of the surrounding mountain ranges including Mount of the Holy Cross. Hikers can see the Gore Range, Uneva Peak, Copper Mountain ski area, and more from the top of Shrine Mountain.
