What I've learned in life thus far:
1) All I know is that I know NOTHING
After 19 years of education, I've come to realize that I know nothing. Sure, I can have an intellectual converstaion about the latest documentary film or a political debate on the iraq war, but when it comes down to it, this knowledge is meaningless. What matters is life, the here and now, and last time I checked you can't get your degree in enlightenment. All you can do is rely on those fleeting moments of ecstacy, a communion with divinity, the big picture or more precisely how you fit into the big picture. Can you tell me how you do? Then I'll say you know something.
