Dr. Sendoa Ballesteros received the BSN degree (2002), MPH degree (2011) and PhD (2013) from the University of the Basque Country, Spain. He also got others MSc degrees and postgraduate titles about emergency care, healtcare management and patient safety.
During the period 2002-2012, he worked as a nurse practitioner at different Emergency Departments of Osakidetza (Basque Public Health Service) and Bilbao City's Emergency System (Bizkaia, Spain).
