The Hunar Foundation was established by a group of successful businessmen and professionals to provide vocational training programs. It operates several technical institutes that offer internationally recognized certifications in trades like refrigeration, plumbing, welding, and electrical installation. The foundation works with industry partners who employ its graduates. Donors can sponsor individual students or classes, and support capital expenditures like building new workshops or institutes. The goal is to address Pakistan's skills shortage by training the literate, semi-literate, and motivated illiterate.

- 11. Mr. Johannes Braasch Three experts from the Senior Experten Service in Germany have visited THF to assess training and advise regarding teaching methods and facilities. Two advisors from the Western Australian Government visited THF. Four instructors were then sent to Australia for further training. AUSAID supported this by providing a grant of USD 120,000. - 14. THF ALUMNI Muhammad Bilal Hafeez – a THF graduate in Mechanical Fitting & Plant Maintenance of 2010 is now employed at Samsung, Saudi Arabia. Syed Muhammad Ebad Kaleem - Graduated in June 2012 with a diploma in Electrical Installation. Ebad has been employed as Visual Inspector at Coca Cola beverages since Dec 2013. Amir Hussain - An electrical graduate of 2010 with City & Guilds diploma from THF is now running his own technical services company and supporting his family.
