In West Philadelphia, born and raised, on the playground is where she spent most of her days... (Here's the thing... only half of that statement is true.) On the playgrounds of New York City, subways, and handball courts, Penn fell in love with the amazing works of art others considered vandalism or just shenanigans. Influenced by artists such as Keith Haring, Saul Bass, Frida Kahlo, along with street artists, photographers and whoever came up with the awesome Wonder Bread logo, Penn grew up to study graphic design & digital photography; the perfect media to express her love of letters, sarcasm, and doodling.... a
