I prefer to be true to myself, even at the hazard of incurring the ridicule of others, rather than to be false, and to incur my own abhorrence.
I don't think of myself as a poor deprived ghetto girl who made good. I think of myself as somebody who from an early age knew I was responsible for myself, and I had to make good. We are all selfish and I no more trust myself than others with a good motive.
I'm not going to limit myself just because people won't accept the fact that I can do something else. :))
