If you want to know who you are, look at the things around you and think how they relate to yourself. What identifies you cannot be found from yourself, because you were nothing at the beginning, it's like you are at first a variable that has no value yet, you adopt all those features, personalities, ideas, things of yourself as you're getting involved in things that happen in "your" world ,to get yourself actual values. and those will be what make up yourself, in other words, your individual identity, i believe.
