Sigrid has over 30 years experience in nutrition science, having worked in government, industry, research and consultancy. For the last 18 years she has run her own consultancy business undertaking research and compiling evidence-based reviews. Clients include over 20 PLCs and trade bodies, as well as government agencies and universities.
Her special interests include nutritional epidemiology and secondary analysis of diet and health surveys (eg. NDNS, HSE). She has conducted a number of systematic reviews and metanalyses and compiled dossiers for EFSA health claims.
