I am currently research fellow at Modacult, Department of Sociology, Universit脿 Cattolica of Milan. I am primarily concerned with the sociological study of cultural processes. I examine how culture works: both how people use it and how it shapes social life. To date I've found the investigation of the social relations of cultural production a rich site for sociological inquiry. I am author of articles and international academic papers on the interplay of art and urbanites aimed at describing the social construction of public space and culture and art-led regeneration processes.
