- #2: The biggest problem in STEM education is engagement. 40% of Kids in Australia are disengaged with STEM Education. They find it boring ."If there is interest, learning happens" - Arthur C. Clark. The current system of STEM education fails in creating interest - which is key to learning. They way we teach today is fundamentally similar to the way our grandparents were taught. We do not use sensors or AI on anything we now know about how knowledge is constructed. Instead we have put textbooks into computers and write programs that ask questions. Kids are board with this - for good reason.
