Everything comes back to this question, and if you can't answer it, you need to stop and think about what you are doing and why. Child-centred means just that - it's not a buzzword or a rhetorical device. It means having the child - the child's well being, the child's best interests, the child's long-term good - at the very centre of every decision you take, every plan you formulate, every teaching point you execute, every assessment you administer and every professional interaction you have.
