Lets bike down memory lane a little. Four years
ago, msportbike was conceived as a website for
sportridersfromtheMalaysianSuperSeries(MSS)
to congregate and discuss the development of
the sport. Even the Ducati Club of Malaysia got
housed in there once the website was launched.
But it is a completely different scenario
now.The membership for the website should be
coming to 4000 any day now and the majority is
not even MSS racers or Ducati owners.
Who are our readers? Well, they come from
all walks of life, including long-distance travelers,
rugged off-roaders, commuters and speed
junkies.All share a common ground:a passion or
rather an addiction for all that is two wheels.
	 Andasmsportbiketriestoestablishafoothold
in the magazine industry with our second issue
just hot off the press, we hope it will resonate
with motorcyclists from the past, present and
future and even appeal to those living overseas.
Taking the bull by the horns, we are
committed to take on the extra workload and
have listened to your calls for improvements in
the magazine.
So,the second issue has undergone a serious
facelift with a well-thought out change of size
and paper quality. The motorcycling lifestyle
has been given a little more prominence with a
touch of glam.
And if you enjoyed the first issue, you might
appreciate the additional sections dedicated to
the MotoGP with an exclusive interview with
the rider of the moment, Casey Stoner. There is
a BMW HP2 road test, which must be read with
our Aprilia Pegaso Strada road test. Yes, the
Aprilia Pegaso is not a new bike but we just know
that you would appreciate some insight on its
practicality as a commuter.
Women and bikes are not left out as well.Erra
Fazira talks to us about her long affair with bikes
and we have the hot Christiane Fischer modeling
some exquisitely sexy summer wear found in
shops you would not think to look in.Who needs
malls when you can shop at a bike dealer near
you?
So as we divulge more of our findings on
affordability, beauty, quality and excellence (!),
we hope you enjoy the ride.
Ride safe,always.
